About Broken Bow Lake
Broken Bow Lake runs deep, and its floor is covered by rocks — not mud — which gives its water a transparent clarity unlike anything you’ve ever witnessed.
Covering 14,000 acres and bordered by 180 miles of shoreline, it’s the perfect destination for boating, water sports, swimming, fishing and more. Beavers Bend Marina offers speed boat, houseboat and jet ski rentals to spend a day on the lake with family and friends.
The densely forested mountain terrain surrounding the lake is a haven for hikers and bird watchers. The Big Oak Nature Trail and the Beaver Lodge Nature Trail wind through the towering woods, and camping and picnic sites can be found throughout the area.
Hunting is permitted on much of the surrounding land, with an abundance of deer and even a few turkey and other game throughout the season.
