The Indoor Space

Get ready to feel like you’ve just stepped into an HGTV magazine cover as you walk through the glass-paned front door of Double A’s Hideout! Upon entering the cabin you will find soaring ceilings and an airy, open main living area. The large open living room is filled with natural light and accented with bright cheery colors that make you smile the instant you step inside. The fireplace spans to the ceiling with a herringboned wood panel accent feature and sets the modern farmhouse aesthetic for the whole cabin. There is plenty of seating for everyone in your group on the sectional and three chairs. The coffee table is the perfect size for some impromptu board games or puzzles.

Adjacent to the living room is the kitchen and dining area. The kitchen is fully stocked with all of the tools you need to prepare a full meal on the nights you don’t feel like eating out. You will find pots and pans, baking dishes, utensils, and appliances to make you feel right at home. (Food not included!) The kitchen table sits 8 comfortably and the island will seat 4 more.

Nobody likes to have to do laundry, especially on vacation, but if you need to there is a full laundry room right behind the sliding doors in the dining area. Right next to the laundry room, there is also a half bath for guests to use when hanging out in the main living area.

Downstairs, next to the main living area, is the primary bedroom. With the comfortable king-sized mattress and luxury linens, plus the blackout curtains you’ve got the perfect recipe for a good night’s sleep! When you pull back the curtains after your peaceful sleep, you will have a view of the front porch and the trees beyond. There is also a bench and a chair in this room for some extra seating, as well as a full dresser for your clothing. The wow-factor continues in the ensuite primary bathroom which features a double vanity, a large shower, and a closet. If you prefer a bath over a shower, grab a glass of wine and a good book and relax in the large soaker tub.

Upstairs you will find 2 more bedrooms and a game room loft. The first room has 4 twin bunks and looks out onto the upstairs deck. The other bedroom has a king bed, dresser, chair, and bench, similar to the bedroom downstairs. A large walk-in closet reveals a “hidden” room with a small bunk room perfect for a couple of kiddos.

Fun awaits in the game room loft, complete with a tv, a pullout couch, seating for five, various board games, and a shuffleboard table. Whether you want a separate space for the kids, or you want the whole family to play together, the upstairs loft is a perfect place for hanging out! There is also a door leading out to the 2nd story deck from the loft if you prefer to go hang outside!

The upstairs full bathroom has a large walk-in shower with double shower heads and a large sink area with plenty of cabinet space to store your toiletries.

The Outdoor Space

You don’t come to the woods to hang out inside all day, and Double A’s Hideout has the perfect outside spaces as well including three spacious decks! The front deck has six rocking chairs to relax and enjoy your morning coffee. The upstairs back patio has a large sectional for lounging in front of the outdoor fireplace and a tv for relaxing and watching the game. The downstairs back deck is a perfect place to have an outdoor meal with your group. The outdoor table seats 8 and the bar seats 8 as well. You can choose to cook in the kitchen or grill out on the propane grill. After a fun day hiking, ATV’ing, boating, fishing, or whatever your group does for fun, you can relax in the large hot tub which can seat up to 8.

Just off the back deck, there is a swing garden with a rock climbing wall for the kids. There is of course a firepit with seating for 8 for late-night s’mores and campfire stories.
