This Oklahoma landmark commemorates the Alikchi Court Grounds for Apukshunnubbee District, Choctaw Nation, where justice was dispensed in the 19th century. The last execution under Choctaw law occurred in 1899. (On State Highway 3, twenty miles west of Broken Bow.)
