The South Park Trail starts at the southern end of the Beavers Bend Park, just below the old low-water dam. The trail is approximately 1 mile long and is a fairly easy walk to the creek with some hills. This trail is one of four major trail heads included in the David Boren Hiking Trail.
The Beaver Creek Trail can be entered just up from the Nature Center in Beavers Bend State Park. You will enter near the Civilian Conservation Corps monument; the trail will cross the creek further upstream. An additional entrance is located off the Forest Heritage Tree Trail, which parallels a portion of the Beaver Creek Trail.
