The Gallery

The Gallery is a venue dedicated to fine Art, Culture & Expansion. It is located in the historic district of downtown Idabel, Oklahoma a charming fully renovated depression era building, circa 1930.  A distinguished site that is known by locals for its nostalgic French Quarter styled iron doors, 14 ft. ceilings, tin ceiling tiles and the “Free Glass of Wine!   A warm welcoming small-town spot suitable for any of your private events and walking distance to salons, boutiques, restaurants and the city’s outdoor theater.

The Gallery has a steady rotation of fine Art. Including Oils, Watercolors, Sculptures and Wood turning from local and region artisans that is reflective of the local and regional culture, past and present.   The current rotation in includes work of the late Harold Stevenson (1929-2018). Stevenson a Beavers Bend native with permanent exhibits in collections of the Solomon R. Guggenheim, New York, NY, Smithsonian Institution, Washington, DC, Yale University Art Gallery, New Haven, Connecticut to name a few.  Other notable local artist in rotation: Betty Helms-Ramsey, Tiete Lycklama, Rob Clark, Ron Engel-Wilson, Romeo Lopez, the late Frank Peaco, Lucinda Jones, Lyman Choate, Nona Clouse-Cross, Ilene Thomas, Tammie Glenn, Robert Wilson.

Drop in to see the Art!….. Take in some of the “Local Colour”!…..  Enjoy a Free Glass of Wine!
