Welcome to Hickory Moon!  Come spend your Anniversary, Honeymoon, or quiet weekend here in the tranquil atmosphere of Hickory Moon.  If you want to kick back and enjoy the beautiful scenery of Broken Bow/Beaver’s Bend and celebrate your special event, then look no farther.  This custom built cabin, nestled into the pine and hickory forest, was built to enjoy the stunning scenery and abundant wildlife.  The cabin features 1 bedroom and a spacious spa inspired full bathroom, with a large open vaulted living/lodge area designed for entertaining, and just relaxing.  This 840 square foot cabin was built with hardwood hickory, cedar, stained concrete and warm tile accents. The interior is tempered with central heat and air.  The outside features a front and back porch spanning the length of the cabin. The porch is perfect for calm mornings that brag cool temperatures, and neat amenities that invite you to relax and enjoy the view. 

If you own a boat or RV and plan on utilizing it on the lake or in the park, there is an area as you pull in the drive that will suffice for all your storage needs.  The rock drive to the cabin makes it easy to back into and out of the designated parking area.  No need to park on the road, there is plenty of room for your cars. 

The Hickory Moon bedroom features a King size bed.  All in all, Hickory Moon will sleep 2 comfortably.  There are theater style lounge chairs and a love seat in the living area!  The Spa Bathroom has a relaxing Tub, and the Shower boasts a large tiled double walk in shower.  You will notice the Rain Shower heads coming from the 140 year old beams that were reclaimed and resorted from a Vermont historic barn.  The Shower was masterfully built with custom tile and premium shower components.   

Hickory Moon makes it easy for vacationers to fix their party’s meal.  The kitchen is fully equipped with a microwave, refrigerator, oven, stovetop, dishwasher, and disposal.  Don’t worry about lugging your dirty clothes around since there is a washer/dryer in the Utility Room. 

Entertainment and celebration is what Hickory Moon is all about!  There are two dining areas, including an outdoor dining area.  If you want to grill, feel free with the charcoal grill located by the firepit.  Spend a little time relaxing in the evenings by the fire pit, or just hang out on the porch with your family or friends. 

One of the great parts of Hickory Moon is it proximity to the lake and trout fishing habitat, as both are 2.5-3 miles away.  Go spend the day out on the lake, or pick up your fishing rod and try your luck on the river.  The Lower Mountain Fork River is known as one of two year round cold water fisheries in the state of Oklahoma.  It has been featured on Trout Unlimited’s ‘The Rise’ television show, and has gained national recognition as a wonderful trout stream.  Just take the time and check out the Evening Hole (restored by Trout Unlimited and the Lower Mountain Fork River Foundation) and you will see what we are talking about.  Take the family horseback riding, or just jump in a tube or canoe and take a float down the river.  There are too many things to do here!

Small children will love the park, horseback riding, water activities, and train ride in the forest of the national park.
