Our latest addition places northeastern style architecture on a secluded bluff along the Mountain Fork river. With
simplicity and great attention to detail, this cottage takes the standard of Rivers Edge Cottages to another level.
The master bedroom’s huge windows provide breathtaking views of the river. Two comfy sitting chairs, a beautiful king size bed, and a jacuzzi for two make this romantic room special. The kitchen area with unique, earthy quartz countertops, includes an island bar and all the items you would expect in a gourmet kitchen. The windows below the cabinets enable the chef to enjoy river views even while cooking!
The bathroom has a large walk-in shower, and there’s even a large screened in porch for enjoying a bug-free evening out. The spacious back deck offers a table for taking in the view over a romantic meal, and a roomy hot tub is set just below the deck. You’ll want to keep an eye out for the family of otters that frequent this secluded stretch of the river.
What else is included?
Bikes and canoes are always provided FREE with your stay at Rivers Edge Cottages. Â We provide firewood for each cabin between October 1 to April 1. Charcoal grills are provided at each cabin (don’t forget to bring your own charcoal!).
A large playground area is also available for all guests which includes a large sandpit volleyball area, horseshoe pit, swing set and grassy area for playing games.
