Ideal for families or groups up to eight persons, the Homestead is a true log cabin with three bedrooms, two baths. A short walk from the river, from the deck you’ll enjoy the sounds of the river as you soak in the 5 person hot tub. This getaway offers great yard space; there’s plenty of room for the kids to romp and play. There’s also a swing set in the backyard for the little ones.
The focal point of the Homestead’s great room is a native rock fireplace and vaulted ceiling. The interior is all-pine and spruce log, with wood floors and granite countertops. The living area, kitchen, and dining area are all open and provide ample space for larger groups or families with a large dining table and bar area for seating. The master bedroom, located downstairs, features a king size bed and a large two person jacuzzi tub in the bath. The upstairs bedrooms include two queen beds and a bath.
What else is included?
Bikes and canoes are always provided FREE with your stay at Rivers Edge Cottages. Â We provide firewood for each cabin between October 1 to April 1. Charcoal grills are provided at each cabin (don’t forget to bring your own charcoal!).
A large playground area is also available for all guests which includes a large sandpit volleyball area, horseshoe pit, swing set and grassy area for playing games.
