The Bear Cottage features an all-glass front which offers a wooded river view. Perched on the hillside, a picturesque staircase leads to the cabin’s raised front porch. Huge white oak and maple trees surround the cabin, giving it a natural forest setting.
A five person hot tub is privately located on the back deck, which may be accessed by either the kitchen or master bedroom doors. The deck also features a picnic table, a charcoal grill and a nearby fire pit. Ideal for a family, each bedroom has its own private bathroom/shower. The Bear Cottage is a favorite of couples who enjoy a romantic setting; the jacuzzi for two is located inside the master bedroom. A beautiful rock fireplace gives this cottage a rustic, cozy atmosphere.
What else is included?
Bikes and canoes are always provided FREE with your stay at Rivers Edge Cottages. Â We provide firewood for each cabin between October 1 to April 1. Charcoal grills are provided at each cabin (don’t forget to bring your own charcoal!).
A large playground area is also available for all guests which includes a large sandpit volleyball area, horseshoe pit, swing set and grassy area for playing games.
