Lakeview Lodge Trail offers three different loops, each progressively more difficult. You will embark on Loop 1 and will eventually reach a fork in the road. At the fork, proceed right (west) to continue onto loop 2, approximately 1.75 mi long. To continue on Loop 1, proceed left (south) to return to where you started.
This is a family-friendly hiking trail that is tucked away and not heavily trafficked. It offers a peaceful and easy hike through the forest with stunning views of the lake. However, after heavy rainfall, the trail can be muddy, making it challenging to navigate. There are sections of uphill and downhill terrain mixed with flat areas. The trail system has several interconnecting trails for those who want to extend their journey.
