Lakeview Lodge Trail offers three different loops, each progressively more difficult. You will embark on Loop 1 and will eventually reach a fork in the road. At the fork, proceed right (west) to continue onto loop 2, approximately 1.75 mi long. As you continue on Loop 2, you’ll reach another fork. Proceed right (North) to advance to Loop 3, also known as the Indian Nations Trail. To continue on Loop 2, proceed left (southwest) to stay on Loop 2 and make your way back to Loop 1. Loop 3 is approximately 4 miles long.
This route offers stunning views of the lake and winds through rolling hills. The trail is well-maintained and has plenty of shade, making it an excellent choice for a summer hike. However, there are a few challenging parts with rocks and roots, so it is recommended that you wear sturdy footwear. The trail is suitable for both hiking and mountain biking.
