Who says Beavers Bend is just a summer destination? There’s more to do here in the fall than you can shake a stick at (even if that stick has a few less leaves on it.) Whatever your reason for coming to Cabin Country, whether it’s the outdoor fun or to recharge your batteries inside, make sure you make your way into town for a bit. You just might find yourself stumbling on a festival or farmers’ market.

When we told pumpkin spice lattes to move over…we didn’t really mean it. It wouldn’t be autumn without them, and if they’re your cup of tea (or coffee,) you’re in luck. Make sure you check out any of the fall-tastic coffee shops around town and try them all.
And if you’re still thirsty after that, you’re sure to find a seasonal beer or two at any of Beavers Bend Cabin Country’s local breweries.
What better way to make sure those holiday shopping stressors don’t sneak up on you than knocking it out while you’re relaxing in Cabin Country? You can find something for just about anyone on your list without worrying about those dang Black Friday lines. From antiques and boutiques, to souvenirs for the Bigfoot enthusiast in your life, there’s something for everyone, especially if there’s a bourbon lover you’re shopping for.
If you want to get up close and personal with the leaf changes, you’re going to want to hit the trails. And Beavers Bend State Park really knows how to show off during this time of the year. Grab a map and pick your favorite path. We’d give you a recommendation, but we have a tough time picking our favorite to take in those beautiful yellows, oranges, and reds.
Cabins aren’t just made for sleepin’. They’re perfect for campfirin’, s’mores-makin’, hot tubbin’, and takin’ in all the views you can. No matter where you stay, you’re sure to get a front row seat to some pretty spectacular looking foliage. It’s almost a shame the sun goes down here, but gosh darn it, it’s worth it for those sunset vibes.
